This policy explains what information 5 Mile Labs ("we," "us") collects when you visit 5milelabs.com or contact us, how we use it and the choices you have. If you have a question about it, email [email protected].
The short version
- This website has no contact form, no cookies and no advertising trackers.
- If you email us or book a call, we get the details you choose to send.
- We use cookieless analytics from Cloudflare to count visits. It does not identify you.
- We do not sell your information.
Information we collect
When you email us. If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you put in the message (for example, your business name, phone number or details about your business).
When you book a call. If you book a call through our scheduling link, the scheduling tool collects the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number and the time you pick, and shares them with us so we can hold the call.
When you visit the website. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and general information like the referring site, country and device type. It does not use cookies or track you across other websites.
The fonts on this site are served from our own website, so loading a page does not send a request to Google Fonts or other font services.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and hold the call you booked.
- To prepare for that call, for example by looking at how your business shows up on Google.
- If you become a client, to provide our services and send you reports and invoices.
- To understand how many people visit the site and which pages are useful, so we can improve it.
- To keep the site secure and working.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the services we use to run the business, and only as needed for them to do their job:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the website and provides the analytics.
- Our email provider, which stores the emails you send us.
- Our scheduling tool, which handles call bookings.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep emails and booking details for as long as we need them to talk with you or work with you, and then delete them when they are no longer needed for business, legal or tax reasons.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, to correct it or to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is for business owners. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, for example by adding a contact form, we will update this page and the effective date above.
